Aldwinians RUFC is proud to work in partnership with Be Well Tameside, supporting their mission to help adults across Tameside improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

Through this partnership, we are helping promote positive health messages, encouraging healthier lifestyles, and signposting members of our community to trusted, free wellbeing support.

What is Be Well Tameside?

Be Well Tameside is a free, confidential health and wellbeing service for Tameside residents aged 18 and over. It provides practical, personalised support to help people make small, sustainable changes that improve everyday life.

Support can include:

  • Becoming more physically active

  • Improving mental health and emotional wellbeing

  • Weight management and healthier eating

  • Reducing smoking or alcohol consumption

  • Building confidence and motivation

  • Connecting with local activities and services

Support is tailored to the individual, with a focus on realistic goals and long-term wellbeing.

Our Partnership

As a community rugby club, Aldwinians RUFC plays an important role beyond the pitch. Working in partnership with Be Well Tameside allows us to:

  • Promote healthier lifestyles within our club and local community

  • Share trusted wellbeing information and support pathways

  • Encourage participation in physical activity at all levels

  • Support mental wellbeing through connection, routine, and belonging

How Aldwinians RUFC Supports Be Well Tameside

Through this partnership, Aldwinians RUFC will:

All Be Well services remain delivered directly by Be Well Tameside.
